Let's make Faux Tiles

The Technique for May ladies of SSSD is Faux Tiles. Have fun with it. Here we go.

Supplies needed:
3 3/4 x 5" piece of white card stock
1 Large stamp or stamps you can put together to make a large background
Dye ink & sponge dauber
Scoring Tool
Post it notes
Lt. gray or tan marker

Score the long side of your card stock  at 1 5/8 and 3 3/8

Turn your card stock and score along the short side at 1 1/4 and 2 1/2.

Stamp your image

Using the post its mask off each section placing the post it so it covers up the score lines.

Spong around each section with your ink and sponge dauber.
Here is what it will look like when you are done.

Now take your marker and go around the edge of each section hilighting the rectangles.
I also added a few more stampings.

Here's my card layered.

Make your Card. I used a layer of vellum on top stamped with my sentiment and the parrot.
