Black and White with one other color.

That is the challenge at Seize The Birthday. I thought why not try blackish roses.

I added blue for my one color.

I'm also adding this to Pammies Inkie Pinkies Challenge Blog whose them is always anything goes.

Make My Monday Challenge #42

For this weeks challenge I revisited a technique I learned a few years ago. It's called Rainbow Double. You need Glossy card stock and I used the Kaleidacolor Ink Pad Bouquet. First you stamp a few images with Versa Mark. Brayer your ink over the card stock. Wipe with a paper towel. Next rub an embossing buddy over the whole think. and stamp a few more images with either Versa Mark or white pigment ink. Emboss with white Embossing Powder. Now you can stop there or you can stamp a few more images with a matching ink which I did.

All you have to do is emboss with white EP.

I've been stamping more roses.

I stamped a bag full this afternoon. All colors. I'm really liking them now that I've figured them out. I will have to get another flower stamp set to try now. These were perfect for a couple of challenges.

I followed the layout from Altenew Stamp Blog. And I used a couple of the colors.
The stamps used are from Altenew.

I'm also using this card for Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge Blog.
Challenge 1711- Anything Goes.

And I'm joining the Curtain Call Challenge once again. I've used the colors as well as the patterned backgrounds from their Inspiration photo.

3 for 1

I am enjoying stamping these 3 step Altenew Stamps now that I have this stamp press. I had just about given up. Just couldn't get them to line up but being able to stand up looking down and move them in the press there's no problem. I also bought the matching dies not expecting to like them because I am a big fussy cutter but MAN!!!! awesome. You'll be seeing more of the roses in future cards. Today I'm entering this card into 3 challenges.

Make My Monday Challenge #41

I've had a few busy weeks and finally sat down today to make my cards for March challenges. Retired back in January and since then I've been on vacation and in the car running here and there having fun doing things I couldn't do before because of work. Loving Farmers Markets and fresh vegetables.  I'm attending Zumba classes 2 days a week and thanks to my children I am addicted to catching Pokemon LOL. IN my defense it's makes a walk really enjoyable. I could walk for miles and do. Before you know it the day is over so I will have to schedule my time a little better than what I have been doing so the housework and yard work gets completed much to my dismay.

The challenge for this week is to use at least three colors of the rainbow.  I made my background with red, yellow and blue ink that I sponged and blended adding a few more colors as the ink blends.  For some time I have been wanting a certain stamp press but just couldn't justify the price. I found the WeR precision Press in an add probably on Face Book and bought it. You know how silhouette stamps don't always stamp completely. This took 3 stampings and the press was awesome. So glad I got it and it was half the price of the other. Awesome!!

Go on over to the Make My Monday Challenge and add your Rainbow colored card using at least 3 colors found in the rainbow.

Sparkles Christmas Challenge/ March

It's time to make another Christmas card. This month the challenge is to use gold or silver. I chose silver, a color I very seldom use. I like how it turned out.

I embossed my image twice on a very pale pink background. Layered that on silver and then on black. My sentiment is also embossed with silver. I then stamped the image on white, colored with pencils and cut out.
